Round 2

So I'm sitting in English class (my project finished of course) and after Kiara showed me her INTENSE journal, I realized mine would probably appear quite mediocre. In any event, I'm confident that I put a considerable amount of time into mine, so I'm hoping that is reflected....
now, onto what i really wanted to write about.
Last night i was working in the dining room trying to take gov notes when i hear chattering and laughing coming from the tv room. this incessant joyous sound kept wafting into my study room, so much so that i was quite literally forced out of my chair and into the family room. inside sat my family, the tv on but being comepletely ignored. christine (friar, duh) was sitting in a chair laughing at something alice had said and my brother and sister julia were equally roaring. as soon as i opened the door, alice, tears from laughter nearly streaming down her face, called to me that i simply HAD to watch this with them and couldn't i just sit down for twenty mintues to take a break?
needless to say i sat and enjoyed the night with my siblings for that half-hour or so, and was consequently unable to complete that gov assignment (though i did get halfway through). i resolved that since i had first period free the next morning (this morning) i would punish myself by waking uip on time and coming to school anyway, so that i might be able to devote that free period to finishing up my gov assignment.
my arrival at school was relatively normal (though the trip there was slower than usual- one 25mph car after another, and a train crossing! ridiculous!) as was my time prior to the commencement of school. the bell rang, i settled into my library chair to read and take notes.

from across the library her voice shattered the silence. she was talking about how cold it was in the library and "CAN I HELP YOU WITH THAT?" no. no you may not help him. just shut up. but her gabbering continued; how the computer wasn't working and WHY ISN'T THE HEAT WORKING? THE RADIATORS ARENT DOING THEIR JOBS" and on and on and on, practially yelling at her librarian companion. i decided not to say anything. bite your tongue, anna. and i did. as did the two other people TRYING to work at my table. i HAD to get this assignment done. anyway, she continues talking here and there 9incapable of speaking at a normal level of speach, quite incapable of whispering i am sure), until she left the library to follow through on some busy-work she "had" to do. finally silence. i decided to look up for a moment, as my friend was talking about how she had recieved a fake parking ticket from her other friends. i said, "well, you deserved that prank, you junior parkers, always taking my spot! simply ludicris..." AND THEN i hear from across the library (the snicking older one ready to pounce), "You guys are talking too loud. I can hear you from over here. BE. QUIET." what. a. bitch. seriously, then she starts LAUGHING as her evil sidekick re-enters the library, and gesturing towards us as IF we couldn't tell they were giddy over their power.

one word: hypocracy.

one day, librarians, one day im going to say something. they need a taste of their own medicine. no doubt, though, they'll attribute my comments to the "rude new canaan breed" because we ALL think WE are so entitled. yeah sure, whatever happened to common courtesy? am i unallowed to point the finger at injustice? apparently so.
